As a compliment to water only suppression systems, Churchill provides our own foam dust suppression system. Foam dust suppression is particularly effective where there is a shortage of water, or where fine screening of dust particles is necessary. A combination of foam and conventional water spray systems can be installed, also existing water only systems can easily be adapted and updated to foam suppression systems.
We also offer 'Ultrasonic' and 'Dry Fog' type dust suppression systems. This type of equipment is particularly suitable for enclosed material handling plants i.e. coal handling systems for power stations where the addition of moisture has to be kept to an absolute minimum. This method uses water and compressed air to make a micromist of water droplets.
